Ingrain home design is a full service design firm specializing in crafting bespoke interiors and naturally livable homes through a modern lens.

Regardless of the projects scope, our role is to create beautiful, happy spaces through collaboration with you, our client. We’ll help define your ideas, streamline your project, and add insight to ingrain a natural, bespoke, and comfortable sense of peace, balance, and “home” into your project that is unique only to you.

Our Design Process

Phase I - CONCEPTUAL Design

This phase exists to confirm your scope, layout, investment amount, and aesthetic direction. 

We work with you and the build team to put together a general plan for the project.  We’ll document, gather inspiration, envision the space and offer a broad design plan. We will also conduct a trade day to understand feasibility of the build cost.

Depending on your scope this phase may include:

  • Measurement meeting and pre-consult

  • Inspiration Boards

  • Conceptual Design

  • Floor plans

  • Furnishing Investment Estimate

  • Design revisions if needed

PHASE II - DETAILED DESIGN

This phase exists to turn ideas into action and orders.

After concept approval, we move to a more detailed design plan. Here we apply the concept in a more in-depth and specific manner. We’ll create detailed plans for the build team to work from, ensuring each element is thoroughly and visually communicated. We’ll supply samples of fabrics, finishes and surfaces. And we’ll narrow room furnishings down to specifics based on your previous input and project investment.

Depending on your scope this phase may include:

  • Sourcing actual items

  • Ordering samples

  • Refining Floor plans

  • Creating elevation drawings for any cabinet or molding walls

  • 3d renders where necessary

  • Lighting plans

  • Selections

  • Proposals

  • Design revisions, if needed

PHASE III - purchasing and execution

ONCE DESIGN DECISIONS ARE MADE WE PARTNER WITH YOUR BUILD TEAM TO MOVE YOUR PROJECT FROM CONCEPT TO CREATION.

This phase may include:

  • Design administration for Construction

  • Ordering all your approved pieces

  • Procuring any additional specialty items

  • Tracking your orders through our Vender partners

  • Scheduling and expediting deliveries to our warehouse

  • Staging goods to prepare for the big reveal!

phase iV - implementation

Last, once the contractors clear out, we’ll help bring everything together through installation and styling.

This phase may include:

  • White Glove Delivery of all your purchased goodies!

  • Move in and placement of all new design elements

  • The removal of all packaging materials

  • Stylizing, curating and perfecting of your space.

  • And any Finishing touches before we reveal your new home!
